This Portland Oregon IKEA kitchen remodel was very detailed and large.  We took out the dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room.  We combined the two spaces to make an amazing gathering spot for family and friends.   IKEA Adel birch cabinets where used with IKEA Nexus black/brown cover panels to give it two tones.  We made our own custom cornice pieces and stained them to match the Nexus.  New Hardwood flooring were layed throught the main walkways in the house bring the two spaces together.  The bar is made of her old oak cabinets that we added clear glass and repainted.  "Absolute black" granite was installed on the stove side with a contrasting granite on the island. 

Using the clients existing kithen cabinets and combining them with new IKEA cabinets, helped keep the cost down and create a more green kitchen remodel in Portland.  

As kitchen remodelers it is our job to help make the most value we can for the least expense.  This remodel made a huge impact in the home owners daily life.  The new kitchen and dining room are the epicenter of their daily lives as well as when their large family comes to visit for a meal or the weekend.
