This bathrom was built and designed for a custom new home John built in Oregon. The home owners milled wood from their back yard for our team of carpenters to creat the cabinetry and trim pieces. When John Webb designed this bathroom space he obviously thought of traditional finishes and textures. Dark tile floors and a modern European self standing tub brought it into the new century without losing touch with the rest of home.
Corian counter tops were used for both his and her vanities. Corian is a great product if you don't like to clean. It can dull some over time but it just takes a little elbow grease to buff it out. Brushed nickel water fixtures where used for the faucets, Roman tub filler, and shower fixtures.
Large windows in the second story bathroom give lots of natural light but still keep the privacy from the neighbors....now that lots of trees are cut down. Traditional trim work was used for all the windows in the home. Take a look at the rest of the home here
Dark tile is a modern touch and helped ground this bathroom designed by John
